Drama Excellence
The Shell and Remove Drama Excellence Group have been working towards their Bronze Arts Award this year, which means that they partake in a performance, review a performance and lead a workshop for others. Join them as they present their exploration of William Golding’s The Lord of the Flies in a show that they have staged entirely themselves.

Dr Faustus
Would you choose conscience or the path to damnation? Faustus, a scholar, decides the latter as he makes a deal with the devil: his soul in exchange for twenty-four years of service from Mephistopheles. Faustus' career as a magician within the dark arts brings him gifts and powers a-plenty. As he travels the world performing for Dukes and Emperors, he fears for the end of the twenty-four years, which is fast approaching. His final night sees him begging for mercy, but will it be too late? Join our Shells and Removes as they perform Christopher Marlowe’s epic play in the very school where Marlowe was a scholar.

Our dancers are eager to take to the Malthouse stage to entertain and delight us with their skill and strength. The determination and frustration of women’s suffrage is told in a new production, with emotive classical music. In the second act, they treat audiences to a feast of dance, including disco, classical ballet, street dance and a fitting finale for our fabulous 6a leavers. The magical marriage of music and dance and the enthusiasm of our young people's performances form a heart-warming and happy celebration of the creative spirit of King’s Week.

Twelfth Night
On the beautiful shores of Illyria, Viola is washed up, shipwrecked and alone. Presuming her twin brother to have drowned, she seeks employment, in male disguise, with the governing Duke, Orsino. Desperately in love with Countess Olivia, Orsino sends Cesario (Viola) to the Lady’s house with messages professing his love. However, Cesario’s charm, wit and earnest insights on love capture Olivia’s attention and Viola finds herself suddenly caught in a net of mistaken identities and affections. Meanwhile, Olivia’s hedonistic Uncle and her household servants make mischief with the straight-laced steward, Malvolio, tangling even more characters in a web of delusion. Join us in the Memorial Court for a summery comedy of chaos, confusion, and Cupid!
